Website & Design system

UI/UX DESIGN

  • case study

UNIBERG is a technology company whose previous website was outdated and has lack of focus. The previous digital presence featured a confusing layout and an inconsistent structure, failing to communicate a clear, compelling message about the company’s core technological expertise. This was a significant, large-scale project, further complicated by the concurrent requirement to develop a comprehensive style guide and a new design system.
  • Solution

Website redesign, overseeing the entire process from UX Research to wireframing and final UI implementation. The goal was to create website with a new, modern look. Deliverables: UX Research, User Flows, Personas, Wireframes, UI Design, Custom illustrations, Component library, Design system.

UX Research

Within the Marketing team, I managed the end-to-end website redesign, with a strategic dual focus on optimizing the user experience and enhancing visual clarity. This effort was supported by comprehensive competitive UX research, which helped us establish industry standards and identify key areas for market differentiation.

  • Conducting a competitive analysis to identify key industry players. We analyzed their strengths, weaknesses, and unique selling points, which helped us position UNIBERG more clearly and effectively.
  • Identifying pain points in competitor websites such as unclear navigation, lack of product differentiation, or inconsistent visual language, all of which we aimed to improve in our design.
  • Working on user personas and user flows to ensure a seamless and intuitive experience tailored to real user goals and behaviors.
  • Competitor analysis

As a part of the UNIBERG Marketing team, I contributed to a competitive analysis of leading German technology companies operating in the same specialized sector. This comprehensive analysis focused on examining their core strengths, weaknesses, and technology stacks.

  • User Persona & Epic

As an IT Infrastructure Manager, I want to plan and deploy a private 5G network across the manufacturing facility, so that industrial machines (e.g., AGVs, sensors, robots) can communicate with ultra-low latency, high reliability, and strong security.

  • Final sitemap

I collaborated with the team on the strategic development of the new sitemap, ensuring that the content architecture and navigation were precisely aligned with defined user needs and core business priorities.

  • Wireframing & Prototyping

  • Wireframing

Display of the new structure and improvements on the site map. After defining the problem space and user needs, I created low-fidelity wireframes to test layout and navigation ideas.
  • Prototyping

High-fidelity UI prototype aligned with the updated brand identity. Several rounds of feedback and iteration were incorporated to refine the user interface.
  • Problem solved

This section highlights the key challenges discovered throughout the project and the solutions that shaped a clearer, more intuitive user experience.
